How is it up there?
I'm a little bird, I can view the big world! I can sing, I can dance, I can fly, Near your door, on the trees, in the sky, Oh so high, in the brilliant blue sky! In the rain, I go to my nest, Give food to the chicks, then we rest. East or west, wherever I go, I cut through the breezy winds that blow. When the days are stormy, We hide in our cozy roost, The fear is up, then the winds halt, And our horror reduced! Ups and downs for us too, But we don't sadden, just continue. We're a pretty family, We sing for people in the dawn, As the day goes by, my chicks play in the lawn. By the time it's dusk, I gather all the husk. It's fun to flutter and flap in flight, In the nightfall, I hug my chicks so tight! The twilight lullabies, It's a sweet, quiet evening, A tiring day, yet the beauty is matchless, The silvery moon kisses the world in stress.
