The untrue smiles we spark, Even when within, it's dull and dark, The shallow hearts we bear, And the agony which we carry! It all occurs when youth and disdain marry, Touching the peak of deception, In a world so deceptive as ours, When we hide our scars, With a glamorous mask so hollow, But that's the trend we follow, Fabricating our beads of lies, With an exorbitant necklace of gaiety and pride, Pretending to always be right! The false promises and distrust, Lie shriveled up deep below the unrevealed bottoms, Of a broken heart
